About The Nomad Yogini
Amanda Butterill, RYT 500
With over 500 hours of teaching experience Amanda leads her classes with the belief that experience is the teacher and aims at providing a safe place for her students to learn and grow. Amanda's classes are for anyone who wants to strengthen, stretch and release stress. Using different methods to achieve this she offers a variety of styles including power, flow, yin and restorative - all with the intention of leaving her students feeling more relaxed, energized and grounded.
Amanda's yoga teaching journey began in 2009 when she completed her 200 hour teaching training with Don and Amba Stapleton at the Nosara Yoga Institute in Costa Rica. Her desire for change along with her hunger to learn and experience more Yoga lead her to the teaching path full time. This is how her passion for travel, Costa Rica, the ocean and living a simple Nomad life was sparked.
She has been traveling ever since between her first home in Canada and her now second home in Costa Rica. Along the way she has completed her 500 hour level training and is registered with the Yoga Alliance at the 500 hour level.
